Commando style in Iran has been recognized since 2005 by master Mehdi Gheshlaghi with the permission of the Asian Martial Arts Association. In 2016, this style was able to be nationally registered in the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Federation of Martial Arts Associations after the legal process in the Martial Arts Federation as a commando system and later in 2009 as a  Sport Commando group in the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Federation of Martial Arts Associations.
The special applied techniques of this field have been learned by the founder of the style – Master Mehdi Gheshlaghi – from his masters during his years of activity in various martial arts, and from their combination, he has designed and presented practical techniques for the security of individuals.
From the very beginning of its establishment and official approval, this style has tried to use the martial art of sport commando, according to its nature and necessity; It should be used professionally in state, military and government organs, and it should be spread among the people with general and practical movements and combat techniques.

In the sport commando style, it has always been tried to design training techniques and tools in such a way that all members of society in all walks of life can use it in addition to promoting their health, privacy, property, honor, homeland and … Protect.

Now and with pride, not only the sport commando style is very popular in the country; It is also expanding in several other countries, and granting representation to other countries is in the process of planning and action.

Frequently Asked Questions

From a technical and tactical point of view, commandos are people who have managed to go through heavy and exhausting military courses. For example, passing aquaculture courses, special operations, automatic parachuting and free fall, advanced solo combat and…. These courses are just a few of the trainings a commando must pass. There are many other specialized courses that can be said that their number is unlimited. After passing general courses, each commando enters other specialized courses such as diving, vandalism, navigation, and so on. Some trainees are sent to specialized courses and sub-courses of the same main course, and some choose another specialty, so that after a while, each commando specializes in only one main area in which he becomes fully qualified. Such as a diver commando, specialization in one of the weapons in the service unit and ..

The general belief in the commando is a strong, rugged person with a ruthless face; While this belief is not correct. In modern military science, the most obvious and main feature of a commando is having a “creative mind”. Contrary to many people’s beliefs, Commando is not a superhero like Arnold with a well-trained body that never makes mistakes and never dies. In fact, it is a good thing to be a professional and excellent commando, even though your height, weight and body shape are good. In our country, all the activities of commandos are based on the two basic principles of “faith” and “will”; And then in the third place is “intelligence”. The reason that faith and will are more important than intelligence and are discussed in the first place is that we have seen many times that people, despite their small stature and less physical strength, but with stronger faith and will, have been able to fight much better than others. Go through the difficult training process themselves. And the last point; A commando must have acceptable English language skills as learning and mastering several languages is extremely important in overseas operations.

Commandos usually work as a team and guerrillas individually. But the common denominator in both is the lightness of the mission. This means that they usually do not have heavy and semi-heavy weapons with them. Another important difference between commandos and guerrillas is that; Commandos are official members of a registered army and are covered by the provisions of the Geneva Convention. But because the guerrillas are not affiliated with any government agency, they are considered free fighters and withdraw from the provisions of the Geneva Convention. Exception: Hezbollah guerrilla groups, although legally considered guerrillas, work as a team and in some cases carry and shoot semi-heavy weapons such as 106 cannons individually! Note: The principles of military work are a rule and not a law! So each military can be according to personal tastes, type of mission, type of target and type of target area; Violate or ignore one or more of these rules. This is especially the case for asymmetric wars.

A standard commando team consists of seven people, each of whom specializes in a field. Commander, Physician, Telecommunications, Sniper, Destroyer, Support (Shooter) and Operational Shooter. Of course, these rules and titles can change depending on the situation. For example, a team may not need a commander but need a modern warfare specialist, in which case the person will be added to the team. Members of a commando team are just like brothers. They trust each other 100%, and when one of the members leaves for a task, the second one is never sent to make sure. Or when Taktirzan announces that the area is safe, other people enter the danger zone with peace of mind because they trust their teammate. Also, the team must be completely self-reliant when sent on a mission; Because radio communication with Aqaba and the command is possible in the most limited way possible. Commando food: Commandos, because they travel lightly, can not take much food with them and eat anything that can be eaten on the trip, such as; Plant roots, leaves, forest fruits, etc. Fortunately, nowadays, with protein pills, work has become much easier, and commandos can meet their needs by consuming a protein pill daily. Also, with a creative mind, they can find the right answer to any problem during the mission.
